Song of the Season
Winter

This tune is from a compilation of ballads and folk tunes of the seventeenth century's most popular meldodies. Thomas D'urfey, the arranger/composer of this tune, was a multi-talented man who wrote plays, poetry, and comedy, and also composed music. This song is also sometimes performed as a Holiday Carol.
